A ‘one of a kind’ diverse young people’s project based in Telford.
We can support you if you are aged 12 to 21 and have issues with drugs, alcohol or any addiction, or if you live with a family member who struggles with addiction.
At Recharge we provide an effective recovery programme that supports young people through guidance, engagement and consistent goals. We offer ‘5 ways of Well-being‘ to encourage young people to build on their mindfulness, social skills, knowledge and physical activeness. We also offer Mental Health support through regular group sessions with like-minded individuals who are facing similar issues.
The group sessions help to engage young people struggling with Mental Helth issues, and for them to gain insights into valuable ways of dealing with emotional difficulties.
At Recharge we run activities for and with young people to raise awareness, offer support and give access to new experiences and opportunities.
We also run music based group projects where you can learn a new instrument and gain new experiences through music.
Throughout the year we provide residential trips including sports and adventure activities.
At Recharge we value the support that our volunteers provide. Without them the scheme would not operate as it does today, enabling young people to access all that Recharge can offer.
We have volunteer opportunities within Recharge to assist us by providing support in a variety of up and coming projects, as well as general admin & group support. You can be sure that you will be a valued member of our team.
We also provide a Volunteer Pathway programme with step by step stages that supports young people through the recovery process as well as helping them to gain more knowledge through offical training.
